Cosme is Enrique Olvera's restaurant in New York City’s Flatiron District. Cosme serves contemporary cuisine rooted in Mexican flavors and traditions while celebrating local and seasonal ingredients. Our beverage program mirrors our cuisine, focusing on artisanal spirits, high quality ingredients, and sourcing inspiration from our Mexican culture.

Chef Founder

Since the opening of Pujol 24 years ago, Enrique has not ceased to celebrate Mexican gastronomy, his work has attracted international attention to Mexico City as a gastronomic destination and has also been, through the different restaurants, a school and mentor for countless talents. As from the beginning, and surrounded by a solid team, Enrique is today a driving force for creativity and the prospection of new hospitality businesses in Mexico and the world.

Chef De Cuisine

Gustavo Garnica, a native of Mexico City, found his passion for cooking early on. After a stint at Noma, Denmark, he embarked on a culinary journey spanning Narisawa in Tokyo, Frantzen in Sweden, and Osteria Francescana in Italy. Returning to Mexico in 2016, he joined Pujol before venturing to Cosme in New York City, where he became head chef in 2021. Garnica's cuisine at Cosme blends local ingredients with his Mexican culinary heritage, crafting dishes that resonate with New York's dynamic culinary scene.

Eva Ramirez

Pastry Chef

Born in Mexico City, Eva immigrated to Chicago, Illinois at age 3. She studied at CIA Hyde Park, and completed her internship at Cosme. After graduating she worked at Parachute in Chicago before moving back to NYC to return to Cosme and ATLA. Since 2022 Eva has been Cosme’s Pastry Chef, and believes “desserts do so much more than just being sweet.
